  Don't Pay to File Your UCR 🚛

  Do me a favor – if you get one of those awful emails or text messages to have someone file your UCR for you, post it in the comments.

  First I want to say, there are companies that prey on carriers thinking things are harder and more complicated than they really are. A UCR filing for someone that knows what they are doing takes a couple of mins.

  If you are stopping and ready – 5 mins. I tell people “if you can make an order on Amazon, you can file your UCR.”

  Here are the instructions and if you are having trouble, just ask us. We hate seeing people pay the vultures $100+ for less than 5 mins of work.

  Have you completed your Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) filing yet? Don’t worry if you’re not computer-savvy – we’ve got you covered! Follow these easy steps to complete your UCR filing online:

  1️⃣ First, visit the official UCR website: https://www.ucr.gov/

  2️⃣ Click on “Register or Renew Now” to start the process.

  3️⃣ Choose the appropriate registration year and click “Next.”

  4️⃣ Enter your USDOT number, and click “Search.” Your company information should appear. Verify that it’s correct before proceeding.

  🔎 If you don’t have a USDOT number, you can apply for one here: https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/registration

  5️⃣ Follow the step-by-step instructions to complete your UCR filing, including selecting your fleet size and making the payment.

  6️⃣ Once you’ve completed the process, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Keep this for your records.

  📅 Remember, UCR filings are required annually. Don’t forget to complete your filing each year to stay compliant and keep your business running smoothly!
