Description

This course has been developed to provide supervisors with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage a drug and alcohol testing program in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

As you may be aware, the DOT has established drug and alcohol testing requirements for safety-sensitive transportation industries, such as aviation, trucking, rail, transit, and pipeline. These regulations are designed to help ensure that transportation employees perform their duties safely and free from impairment due to drug or alcohol use.
